Prism exists because we couldn't find a coding platform we'd genuinely recommend to our own kids. So we built one.
We're a group of software engineers, product builders, and company makers who've spent the better part of our careers obsessing over how to build things that work beautifully and actually matter.
Between us, we've shipped products used by millions, written code that runs at scale, designed systems from scratch, and — most importantly — watched kids light up when they realise they can create something with a computer.
We started Prism because the existing options felt wrong. Either too dumbed-down (drag a block, watch confetti, learn nothing), or too intimidating (here's a blank terminal, good luck). There had to be a middle ground — something that treated kids as genuinely capable, guided them with real projects, and used AI as a patient, always-available mentor rather than a crutch.
We're not a big company. We don't have a marketing department or a PR agency. What we do have is an unreasonable amount of conviction that coding education can be dramatically better than it is today — and the skills to prove it.
Every line of code in Prism, every lesson, every interaction — it's built by people who genuinely love this craft and care about getting it right.
We lose sleep over pixel alignment, lesson flow, and whether a 10-year-old will smile when their first program runs. Every detail matters.
